Player Wins €30 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

A player celebrated their first EuroMillions jackpot win of the year on Friday night, scooping more than €30 million.

One week after the record-breaking €250 million draw on 28th March, a total of 23 million entries were submitted for Friday’s draw, offering the chance to become a multimillionaire.

The winning numbers were 27, 39, 41, 45, and 50, with Lucky Stars 5 and 7 - a high set of numbers which might not appeal to those who prefer using key dates for selections. However, one participant defied odds of 139,838,160 to 1 to match all the numbers.

There was only one winner in the second prize tier as well, matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star to earn €684,735.

No more information was released about the jackpot winner immediately after the draw. They have 60 days to come forward, so the lucky player cannot delay before contacting the national lottery operator.

There have been 131 jackpot winners since EuroMillions started in 2004, although this is the first time since last December that someone has landed the top prize.

Big Jackpots in 2025

The year began with back-to-back successes for another country - first an £83 million win on 24th January and then a £65 million payout on Valentine’s Day. A different ticket holder pocketed €52 million on 28th February before history was made in the month of March.

A Superdraw on 7th March increased the jackpot to €130 million, and it continued to rise until the game’s limit of €250 million was reached, setting the stage for the biggest draw ever on 28th March.

Another participant claimed the record jackpot, continuing a proud tradition of making big winners.

The jackpot now resets to €17 million, with draws continuing every Tuesday and Friday night.
