Winner Secures €52 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

A remarkable win occurred on Friday evening as a fortunate player secured over €52 million from the EuroMillions jackpot.

The top prize had rolled over for three consecutive draws since a ticket holder won a significant sum on Valentine’s Day. However, the streak was halted when a single entry matched all the winning numbers: 7, 16, 31, 43, and 46, along with Lucky Stars 5 and 9.

The winning ticket was sold, marking a milestone for the area this year in achieving a top-tier payout. Additionally, this win adds to the region's impressive record, marking the 45th jackpot victory since the EuroMillions lottery began in 2004. The winner has 20 weeks to come forward and claim the prize.

Superdraw Approaches

Although the jackpot has just been won, it is set to rise again substantially on Friday 7th March when the first Superdraw of 2025 occurs.

Regardless of whether there is a winner in the upcoming draw, the jackpot will increase to €130 million (approximately £104 million) for Friday night, making it the first nine-figure jackpot of the year.

If no one wins in this upcoming draw, the jackpot will continue to roll over until a match for all numbers is found, with the potential to reach a cap of €250 million.
