Player Claims £26 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

The EuroMillions jackpot was claimed on Friday, 3rd October, as a ticket holder matched all the numbers. The jackpot, which was at £26 million (€29.2 million) after a rollover on Tuesday, saw more than 23 million entries for the draw. The winning numbers were 6, 12, 18, 25, and 41, plus Lucky Stars 2 and 6. More than 1.9 million prizes were distributed, but only one ticket matched the full set of numbers. The winner, who is from the UK, promptly came forward to claim their prize. Although they had up to 180 days to contact the National Lottery, the process has already begun. A validation process will ensure the winner receives their money, and experts will be available to assist in making the most of the newfound wealth. This marks the 10th time the jackpot has been won this year, with three prizes going to the UK. While this year has seen fewer wins than any previous year since EuroMillions began, it has been significant for record payouts, including three €250 million jackpots. The jackpot will reset to €17 million for the next draw on Tuesday, offering another chance to become a multimillionaire. Participation is open online or through authorized retailers in any of the participating regions.
