The Eurojackpot’s Grand Prize of 120 Million Euros Alongside the Second Prize Reaching About 17 Million Euros

If the Eurojackpot grand prize hits, it would be the largest lottery win ever recorded by a Finnish player, according to a spokesperson from Veikkaus, Minna Sundholm. Currently, the record for the largest Finnish lottery win is held by the Eurojackpot grand prize from August 2019, where a nearly 92 million euro prize was distributed among 50 participants.

In the Eurojackpot, the prize for the second tier increases when the grand prize reaches its maximum level of 120 million euros and if there are no winners in the second tier either. Even without hitting the jackpot, one could join the ranks of millionaires if the second-tier prize is won. If it were won here, it would also mark the largest second-tier prize ever.

The 120 million euro grand prize has been won five times so far, with winners in various countries. Meanwhile, the Eurojackpot grand prize has been won here 22 times.

Eurojackpot is a multinational game that started in March 2012. Currently, 19 countries participate in this game, with Greece being the latest to join in March of this year.
