The winner recounted, 'I checked the ticket in the evening and noticed I had five numbers and the star number correct. Initially, I thought I'd won a few hundred thousand euros.' However, the amount turned out to be 4.8 million euros, leading to trembling hands from the excitement. The winner mentioned that the weekend was spent with limited sleep and shared the news with family immediately. Although they informed their family, they intend to keep news of the win within a small circle, maintaining a low profile. On this same day, four other similar second-tier prizes were also won across different countries. The Eurojackpot's grand prize of 120 million euros was won elsewhere in another country. This win ranks as the fifth-largest Eurojackpot win for the region. The winner will receive their prize in three weeks. Historically, Eurojackpot has awarded large prizes numerous times, including a massive 91.9 million euro prize won by a group in 2019.
