First EuroMillions Jackpot Win of 2025 Goes to Lucky Ticket Holder

A single ticket holder matched all the EuroMillions numbers on Friday, January 24th, becoming the first jackpot winner of the year with a windfall of £83.4 million (€99.3 million). The jackpot had remained unclaimed since December 27th, when a player scooped €41 million. It quickly grew towards €100 million over the month but has now been claimed.

The winning numbers for Friday night were 2, 11, 19, 30, and 49, with Lucky Stars 3 and 8. More than 2.3 million players across the continent picked up prizes, including nine in the second tier. Payouts went to multiple regions, exciting ticket holders.

The lucky jackpot winner now has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize. They must decide whether to remain anonymous or go public. While most winners prefer privacy, some fascinating stories eventually surface, highlighting the diverse backgrounds of winners.

The recent win has also contributed to the region's lead in the table of the most successful places for jackpot wins, edging just ahead of others.
