As regular EuroMillions draws occur, the Reserve Fund collects a small percentage from each prize fund. The aim is to always offer a minimum jackpot, and over time, it builds up enough for events with substantial prizes, like the upcoming Superdraw.
How It Works
Superdraws function in the same manner as regular EuroMillions draws — same rules, same number of drawn numbers — the only difference is that the jackpot is guaranteed to be won.
Even if the regular jackpot rises past €130 million before the Superdraw, the major prize remains available, just progressing as a regular draw. Depending on the Reserve Fund, officials might schedule another Superdraw later on. Although exact timing for the next Superdraw isn't established, rest assured there's a sizable jackpot at stake.
Currently, four Superdraws are projected this year. Confirmation of the first one is already available. Based on previous years, the remaining special events in 2026 might occur in June, September, and December, although the exact scheduling depends on jackpot tracking.
What if Nobody Wins the Jackpot?
If there are no winners in the first draw, the jackpot rolls over to the next one and continues until the top prize is won or reaches the jackpot cap of €250 million. Once it hits the cap, the jackpot can stay at this figure for four draws in a row. If it's not won, it will be shared among the winners of the next highest prize tier.
This process allows the Superdraw to create some of the biggest wins in your area. For example, the most recent Superdraw in December 2025 resulted in a major win of €142,433,804.

With odds of 1 in 139,838,160, the chances of winning might seem slim, but as the saying goes, someone has to win! You can enter by visiting a local licensed lottery retailer or by participating online.
The draw costs €2.50 for a single line of numbers, with an option to enter the same line into two draws for €5.00. Be sure to check your ticket after the draw concludes, as many lottery prizes remain unclaimed annually.
